The short version
Our free tools run in your browser, and what you type into them isn't sent to us. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies. We use no advertising or tracking cookies. The personal data we hold is what you give us when you buy something or email us.
What we collect
- Free tools (invoice generator, pricing calculator): the calculations happen in your browser. What you type isn't uploaded to us or saved by the tools, and it's gone when you close or reload the page.
- Visit statistics: see "Cloudflare Web Analytics" below.
- Purchases: payments are taken on Stripe's secure checkout. We receive the name, email address and any billing details you enter there, plus confirmation that you've paid. We never see or store your full card number.
- Setup service answers: if you buy the Setup service, you send us details for your files — for example your business address, phone number, VAT number, bank details for your invoice and your logo. We use them only to prepare and deliver your files.
- Emails you send us: your email address and whatever you write, so we can reply.
We use your order details only to take payment, deliver your files, answer your questions, handle refunds and keep the tax records we have to keep. We don't sell your data or use it for marketing without asking you.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they view and which sites referred them. It measures page loads in your browser and doesn't set cookies or use your browser's local storage. Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not collect or use visitors' personal data. We only see totals, such as visits per day, top pages and referring sites — not who you are.
Stripe
Stripe processes your payment, and handles your card details and payment information under its own privacy policy.
Locally hosted fonts
This site serves its Fraunces and Inter fonts from its own website files. Your browser does not contact Google to load them.
Website hosting
Like any website, the servers that deliver these pages receive standard technical information from your browser, such as your IP address and browser type, so that the pages can be sent to you.
How long we keep your data
Order details are kept for as long as needed to support your purchase and meet UK tax record-keeping requirements (generally 6 years), then deleted unless you contact us again.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email [email protected] and we'll get back to you within 30 days. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
