The short version
You pay once through our secure Stripe checkout. Download links for the Starter Pack, workbook and letter set are emailed to you when your payment confirms; the Setup service comes back as personalised files within 5 working days of payment. You can have a full refund on any download product within 7 days, and your legal cancellation rights are explained below. The free tools give estimates to help you plan — they are not formal tax advice.
The products
- Sole Trader Starter Pack (£19, one-off): six files — an invoice template (Excel), a client contract (Word), a rate card and pricing worksheet (Excel), an expense tracker (Excel), a self-assessment checklist and deadline planner (PDF) and a Read me first guide (PDF).
- Year-End Bookkeeping Workbook — 2025/26 and 2026/27 (£12, one-off): both editions are included. Each has a six-sheet Excel record-keeping workbook and a six-page PDF guide for England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The 2025/26 edition covers 6 April 2025 to 5 April 2026, with the online return due 31 January 2027; the 2026/27 edition covers 6 April 2026 to 5 April 2027, with the online return due 31 January 2028. Each provides a rough tax set-aside estimate, not tax advice. The 2026/27 guide uses the latest published SA103S form references; recheck them when that year’s form is available.
- Late-Payment Letter Set (£9, one-off): four editable Word letters, a two-sheet Excel interest calculator and a two-page PDF guide. For business-to-business invoices only. The letter before action is for limited companies and LLPs in England and Wales; the guide explains the separate Debt Claims Protocol route for a sole trader client. - Done-for-you Setup (£49 total, including the Starter Pack): all six Starter Pack files prepared with your details where relevant, plus a one-page business profile PDF, with one round of tweaks included.

Digital delivery
- Download products: once Stripe confirms your payment, an email with your download links is sent to the address you gave at checkout. This applies to the Starter Pack, Year-End Bookkeeping Workbook and Late-Payment Letter Set. If it hasn't arrived within a few minutes, check your spam folder, then email us and we'll re-send it.
- Setup service: after payment we email you seven short questions about your business. Your personalised files come back by email within 5 working days of payment, and we reply to your one round of tweaks within 2 working days.
Please save your files once you have them. If you lose them, contact us and we'll re-send them.
Your licence
You may use the download files in your own business work with as many clients as you like. You can't resell or redistribute the unmodified files themselves (e.g. on a template marketplace) without asking us first.
Estimates are not tax advice
The pricing calculator and any figures we quote are estimates based on UK rates at the time of writing, provided for guidance only. They don't take your personal circumstances into account. For decisions that affect your tax bill, check with HMRC or a qualified accountant.
Refunds & cancellation
- Download product refund: email us within 7 days of purchase for a full refund on any download product — no forms, no fuss. This is in addition to your legal rights below and doesn't reduce them.
- Your 14-day right to cancel (digital downloads): under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you can normally cancel an online purchase within 14 days of buying. At the Starter Pack checkout you are asked to tick a box confirming that you want your download links straight away and that you understand you lose your 14-day right to cancel once you start downloading. Once you have ticked that box and started the download, the right to cancel ends. Our 7-day refund above still applies. If the box was not shown to you or you did not tick it, you keep your 14-day right to cancel and we'll refund you in full.
- Setup service: you can cancel within 14 days of the day you pay. If you cancel before we start work, we'll refund in full. If you've asked us to start within those 14 days and then cancel, we'll refund the price less a proportionate amount for the work already done by the time you tell us.
To cancel or ask for a refund, email [email protected] with your order email address. Refunds go back to the card you paid with. None of this affects your other statutory rights.
